The first “TR-069 CPE Remote Management Solution Seminar,” held in Taiwan was hosted by Works Systems in conjunction with the Committee of Communications Industry Development (CoCID), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA) and the Taiwan Electrical And Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (CIA, TEEMA). The seminar provided an opportunity for Works Systems to introduce the OneMS TR-069 CPE remote management solutions to Taiwanese CPE vendors and offer its expertise in assisting vendors to increase their product competitiveness in the global market.

The “TR-069 CPE Remote Management Solution Seminar” held on May 8th, 2007 at the Taipei International Conferencing Center proved very successful in providing a greater understanding of TR-069 technology which attracted more than a hundred attendants and in excess of forty CPE vendors.
 
Local vendors attending the seminar included Foxconn, ZyXEL, ASUS, DLink, Sercomm, Tecom, DrayTek, TrendChip, UMEC, ACT and also research organizations such as Industrial Technology Research Institute and Chunghwa Telecom Telecommunication Laboratories, who shared their knowledge and future development plans in the use of TR-069 technology.

Speaking at the CPE Remote Management Solution Seminar, Works Systems Chief Executive Officer Tom Tang attracted attention by announcing a full TR-069 technology cooperation model to support local CPE vendors in Taiwan.
“This cooperation model is designed to assist CPE vendors in getting to market quickly and meeting the level of services required by Telco’s and ISP’s.
