TR-069 CPE Remote Management Solution Seminar May 8th, 2007 at the Taipei International Conferencing Centre.

The Works Systems Inc. Taiwan Office is pleased to announce that the first “TR-069 CPE Remote Management Solution Seminar” which will be held in Taipei, Taiwan on May 8th, 2007. This seminar will be held in conjunction with the Committee of Communications Industry Development (CoCID), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MoEA) and the Taiwan Electrical And Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (CIA, TEEMA) at the Taipei International Conference Centre.

The main theme for the seminar is to introduce the TR-069 CPE remote management solutions provided by Works Ssystems Inc. which could assist in leveraging the competitiveness of CPE vendors in Taiwan. In close co-operation with BT Wholesale, Works Systems’ OneMS ACS and IOP program were evaluated and tested to BT Wholesale’s satisfaction and met with the following criteria:

• Fully scaleable solution.
• Integration with existing BTW Ordering & Logistics business processes.
• Provisioning of multi-vendor CPE, WLAN and VoIP products.
• Supports provisioning of non-TR069 devices.
• Works Systems flexibility in tailoring the OneMS product to suit BTW needs.

Due to the successful deployment of the BT Wholesale OneMS ACS, Works Systems Inc. setup the Taiwanese Office in March, 2007 to provide dedicated support to the local telecom operators and CPE vendors. Dr. Michael Meng, Director of Works Systems Inc. Taiwan, says the function of the WKS-TW office is to introduce the highly reliable and flexible OneMS ACS TR-069 CPE management solutions to more CPE vendors for their future telecom business models.

With the help of the CoCID and TEEMA, who have previous experience in promoting the TR-069 Plugfest events in Taiwan, this seminar would assist many CPE vendors not only in solving the TR-069 IOP problems, but also in advancing the competitiveness of Taiwan communication products.
