Works Systems expands commitment to WiMAX through WiMAX Forum membership
-----

SAN JOSE, California, September 3, 2008 – Works Systems today announced its membership of the WiMAX Forum as it has extended the OneMS ACS TR-069 capabilities to include mobile device management.

OneMS is a flexible unified network management solution designed for the service provider type of business. It leverages the service providers existing network infrastructure to automate and integrate the business processes of ordering, provisioning, configuration and management of internet network devices and services.

This announcement extends the Works System's vision for a unified and flexible network management system. The OneMS capabilities have been extended beyond the broadband forum's TR-series of standards adopted by fixed line broadband network operators, to further support WiMAX devices and allow OneMS to unify the management of both fixed and mobile devices.

Works System's OneMS network management solution has been successfully deployed globally by tier-1 fixed line network service providers. The additional support for WiMAX devices on the OneMS will simplify the introduction and management of new wireless services.
