Works Systems expands into Europe New offices established in Copenhagen, Denmark -----
PRESS RELEASE
(San Jose, California and Copenhagen, Denmark. February 1, 2006) Today, Works Systems unveiled presence in Europe. With the establishment of a European subsidiary company, Works Systems Inc. has expanded its operation into the European arena.
The new European operation will act as a platform for entry into the telecommunications and service provider sector. Works Systems intend to place its One Network Management Systems as a leading platform in automated provisioning of broadband and Triple-Play service delivery.
"The selection of Copenhagen is logical", says Tom Tang, CEO of Works Systems, Inc. "For several years, the Scandinavian countries have been among the leaders in broadband penetration, reaching penetration rates of more than 70% of the households in several areas. The focus of service providers are shifting from access to content, and business processes in delivery of services are being reviewed for efficiency in order to meet the fierce competition. This development calls for solutions, which will not only save money on operations, but also enable the subsequent delivery of advanced services from equipment, which is already deployed. And this is exactly what Works Systems is all about - our core business is management"
Karsten Gewecke, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, will be the heading the new European subsidiary company. "I am very confident, that Works Systems' OneNetwork Management System may very well become the chosen platform of European service providers. The management system is centric to the service providers business processes, and besides meeting the demands for cost-effective service delivery today, its potential for further service development are virtually endless".
